epay Launches Own-Brand International Calling Card epaytalk
Launch Promotion Offers up to six hours worth of free calls to China, Hong Kong, Canada and USA
LONDON, United Kingdom – 8th February 2010 – epay Ltd (“epay”), a market leader in electronic payment solutions in the UK, launches epaytalk this week. The rechargeable International Phonecard is epay’s first ever consumer branded product. It will be available to epay’s network of more than 6000 independent retailers to sell from Monday 8th February. epaytalk is being launched in conjunction with international telecommunications company IDT.
To launch the epaytalk product — which coincides with Chinese New Year on 14th February — anybody who buys an epaytalk card will be able to make up to six hours of free calls. Between 1pm and 3pm GMT on 13th,14th and 15th February, epaytalk cardholders will be able to make free calls to all phones in China and Hong Kong and to landlines in the USA and Canada. The USA and Canada have been chosen, as both are countries with large Chinese communities. Customers making use of the six hours of free calls available could save over £90 when comparing a 6 hours of daytime call to a mobile in China using BT’s International Freedom tariff.
The cards also come with extra free credit when they are first purchased. Customers buying a £5 epaytalk card will receive £5 free, doubling their credit to £10. The same free credit applies to the £10 and £20 cards too, so when buying a £20 card the customer will actually receive £40 of credit.

epay will be targeting the base of over 6000 independent retailers via direct mail, field sales representatives, point of sale promotional material and telemarketing to communicate the benefits of the product and drive retailer and in turn consumer awareness.
epaytalk offers customers competitive rates on low cost calls to hundreds of destinations worldwide. The cards will be available at all epay independent retailers for £5, £10 and £20.
